Job Description:
TallOrder Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Integration QA Specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of our TallOrder POS integrations with major accounting systems like Xero and Sage. This role is responsible for rigorous testing and validation of data syncing, reconciliation processes, and ensuring seamless functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

-Integration Testing and Validation: Perform thorough testing of TallOrder POS integration with Xero and Sage, focusing on accuracy and identifying edge cases.

–Error Resolution and Data Syncing: Oversee the resyncing of invoices, payments, and purchase orders that did not initially synchronize with accounting software.

-Issue Identification and Troubleshooting: Identify, document, and collaborate to resolve issues or bugs related to accounting integration.

–Reconciliation Support: Assist with reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.

–Process Improvement Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Manager and QA team to enhance integration workflows and processes.

–Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain documentation of testing procedures, results, and any identified issues.

–Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate effectively with internal teams and, when necessary, communicate technical information to clients in a clear and accessible manner.

–Onsite Presence: Participate in regular office work at our Paarl offices as needed, ensuring alignment with team objectives and project milestones.

Requirements:

–Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.

–Experience in QA and Accounting Software: Proven experience in quality assurance, specifically with accounting or ERP software, and familiarity with Sage or Xero is advantageous.

–Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in accounting software and ERP integrations, with an affinity for online accounting solutions.

–Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: High attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, troubleshoot, and implement corrective measures.

–Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to collaborate effectively within the team and with external stakeholders.

–Hybrid Work Flexibility: Willingness to work from the Paarl office at least once a week as needed, and more frequently if required.
