CloudOne.mobi is proud to publicly announce that the prestigious wine estate Boschendal in Franschhoek has joined the TallOrder POS family. Boschendal has implemented TallOrder Point of Sale at all of their locations on the estate, with the installation of 40 POS licenses.
Boschendal is a 2000 hectare farm between Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, known for its exceptional wines, delicious farm-style meals, expansive gardens, and beautiful views. The 300-year-old farm is a much-loved and -visited landmark on the Western Cape wine map. Over the last few years, the team Boschendal has worked very hard to revitalize the farm and its brand, by employing up 550 people, planting 600 000 new fruit trees and by working to improve their soil ecology. By embracing a quality Cloud-based Point of Sale they are further proving that they are looking to the future; embracing change and innovation.
Boschendal has already been using TallOrder POS at their stall during the popular Night Market since November 2018. TallOrder’s mobility of use and off-line capacities worked perfectly for their Market environment.
CloudOne.mobi founder and CEO Dana Buys has successfully started and sold a number of software businesses since launching his first business while studying at the University of Cape Town in the early 1980s. Subsequently, a hospitality business owner, most notably the Vrede en Lust wine estate; he became frustrated with poor levels of technology, particularly related to Point of Sale software on the market.
